Our Production Process

After 14 weeks of growth, the plants reach a height of 90 cm to 120 cm. At this stage,Ā the flowers begin to ripen and their opening process begins, marking the ideal moment for harvesting. They are carefully harvested while still closed, and then taken to post-harvest, where they finish opening, are sorted and prepared for shipment.

Our Post Harvest Process

Once the flowers are harvested from the field, they begin a controlled opening process that lasts between 7 and 9 days. The opening time varies with the weather: on sunny days, the flowers open more quickly, while on colder days, the process takes longer. For the European market, the flowers open between 80% and 90%; for the Americas and Canada, the opening is between 70% and 75%. The flowers are classified based on their degree of opening, stem length, and bouquet weight. Finally, the flowers are placed in a cold storage room for 12 hours to initiate the cold chain, ensuring their freshness until they reach their final destination.
